How do I make a bid?
Click on Silent Auction Items, scroll through the list and tap on the item you want to bid on. At the bottom of the page beneath the photo and description it will show you the current winning bid and the next minimum bid you need to make. Enter your bid amount into the field at the bottom of the page and click Place Bid (if you are not registered you will need to register your details).
How do I make a donation?
Click on Pledge, choose your level or enter the amount you want to donate into the field at the bottom of the page and click Donate Now. As with bidding you will need to be registered on the system.
You can either register when you first make a bid or go to Login / Register.
Can I edit my profile?
Yes, you can change any of your contact details by first logging in and then going to My Account, editing your profile and clicking Save.
How do I know if I have been outbid?
You can see the current winning bids on the Silent Auction Items page. You can also click on My Bids to see all the items you are currently winning and any items you’ve been outbid on. You will also receive outbid text notifications, easily allowing you to make a higher bid, until the close of the auction.
When does the auction close?
Our online silent auction is scheduled to end at 10.30pm on Saturday 9 April 2022. There is a countdown clock on the item page showing how long is left until the item closes.
Please note that the silent auction end time may change based on the event running proceedings on the day. If you are bidding outside of the event, please keep an eye on the countdown clocks on the item pages.
How do I know if I win an item?
Once the auction ends, winning bidders will be sent a text message and emailing confirming what lots they have won.
How do I pay if I won an item?
Silent Auction:
Event attendees: You will receive a text message and email to confirm your winning lots plus the option to either pay online via a payment link or you can come to the Kidney Research UK payment desk on the night. Alternatively, a member of the team will call you post event to arrange payment with you.
Non-event attendees: You will receive a text message and email to confirm your winning lots and a payment link to pay online. Alternatively, a member of the team will call you post event to arrange payment with you.
Live Auction:
On winning a live auction prize, a member of the Kidney Research UK team will give you options for payment. Payment can be taken on the night at the Kidney Research UK payment desk or post event.
How and when will I receive my winning item?
All items will be available to take home on the evening from the Kidney Research UK desk located near the entrance in the main room (during dinner) or in the lower sugar rooms (post dinner).
For any items uncollected on the night or for non-event winners, we will contact the winning bidders post event to arrange delivery. All e-vouchers for experiences will be emailed to winning bidders post event after payment has been cleared.
What do I do if I made an error in bidding/donating?
