Description

Visit Oxfords liveliest graduate only college, with a lunch or dinner for two people at Green Templeton College, complete with a tour of the beautiful eighteenth century Radcliffe Observatory hosted by Dr Christopher Winchester, CEO of Oxford PharmaGenesis and Associate Fellow of the College.

Lunch takes place between 12-2pm with a choice of three hot meals and a range of salads. Dinner is served in the evening with a more formal setting, in the communal dining room where students and fellows all sit intermingled, a great opportunity to speak to those who work and study within the college and find out more about its amazing heritage. Dinner is a set menu of three courses plus wine, and can be followed up with coffee and tea in the Common room upstairs afterwards. Please note these rooms are accessible by stairs.

Enjoy a tour of the Radcliffe Observatory, the central focus of the three-acre Green Templeton College site. The observatory was constructed in 1772 and functioned between 1773 until 1934. On its completion the observatory became a centre of scientific knowledge internationally and maintained meticulous meteorological records. Now the observatory is host to the common room, dining hall and kitchens along with a magnificent octagonal observing room on the top floor.
