Headed up by the first Indian chef in the world to receive a Michelin star, Atul Kochhar, Kanishka’s 5 course menu explores traditional Indian flavours and cooking methods with a modern twist. Located in the opulent Mayfair and named after King Kanishka, an emperor of the Kushan dynasty in the second century. Kanishka is inspired by the ruler’s use of Buddhist values, including kindness, fairness, honesty, humbleness and a sense of equality – themes which run throughout the restaurant, creating a nostalgic sense of ritual and tradition. Enjoy a drink on arrival followed by 5 course tasting menu and tea/coffee, complimentary still/sparkling water throughout your meal.
