Seashell is a national charity dedicated to providing a creative, fulfilling, and safe environment for children and young adults with the most complex disabilities.
Based in Stockport, Greater Manchester, the charity operates a non-maintained special school, an independent specialist college, together with residential facilities and respite for children and young adults with the most complex disabilities.
The team deliver expert education and support beyond the school and college to individuals, organisations and families from across the country as part of their External Services.
Seashell is now in the next phase of their campus transformation and are building a new college - The Ged Mason Building - with facilities that will help prepare students for a fulfilling life in the community. But the ambition doesn’t stop there, they continue to plan for the ongoing development of their campus to extend their reach and impact.
There are some exciting plans for the future of Seashell, where more children, young adults and their families can access their services and facilities, and where their unique knowledge and skills can be shared with a growing number of organisations, professionals and families.
