1 Hour Junior Learner Driver – Porsche

Have you got a car-crazy son or daughter who can’t wait to get behind the wheel? How about giving them the opportunity to not only drive, but to drive a Porsche Boxster! 

Here’s your chance to be the winning bidder of a 1 hour driving lesson for juniors aged between 11-16. With a fully qualified instructor, juniors will get behind the wheel of a Porsche Boxster. Under the guidance of the instructor, they will learn the basic driving skills such as steering, start-stop, clutch control, gear changing and basic manoeuvres over a 60 minute session.

This experience takes place at Bovingdon Airfield, Hertfordshire HP1 2RR and runs on Saturdays and the occasional Sunday.

The winning bidder will receive a voucher from Rafiki Thabo Foundation, which once activated by TrackDays* will enable the winning bidder to make contact with Bovingdon Airfield to book their date. The voucher is valid for 10 months.

*Rafiki Thabo Foundation will pay for the voucher after the prize has a successful bidder at or above the starting bid. 

Itinerary. 

•    Arrival and registration
•    5-minute introductory brief
•    1 instructor driven demonstration lap in the Porsche Boxster
•    Approximately 50 minutes of driving time in the Porsche Boxster with 1:1 tuition from the motorsport instruction team

There will be short refreshment/bathroom breaks between sessions so the instructor and student can stretch their legs.

Please allow to be at the venue for approximately 1.5 - 2 hours.

•    No license is required
•    All participants must be fit and healthy
•    Glasses must be worn if necessary
•    All participants must have a good understanding of spoken and written English.

Extras on the day
Optional Damage Liability Reductions (ODLR) can be purchased on the day from £25. Without ODLR, drivers will be liable to pay the full insurance excess on any vehicle they damage. ODLR is available with the pre-purchasable VIP add-on.

Weather Conditions
In the instance of severe weather such as Snow, ice or dense fog your event may get cancelled and you will be offered an alternative date for your experience.
