Description

Enjoy two nights in the Cotswolds at one of the most loved homes on AirBnB, according to guests! Discover this recently renovated beautiful Cotswolds cottage, which takes inspiration from rustic French farmhouses and Moroccan riads, with oak wooden floors and quirky designs throughout. Complete with a wood burner and gas fired central heating, the electric is powered by solar panels, hidden from view on the garage roof. This property comes with a private garden and driveway for two cars. Two doubles and one twin bedroom, two bathrooms and a downstairs cloakroom, a combination of couples / friends / families with children can make a variety of sleeping arrangements work (max 6 guests). Neighbourhood highlights Kineton is a small village in the heart of the North Cotswolds. It's got a village pub and around 30 houses, so it's very much off the beaten track from the larger tourist hotspots. The village is surrounded by fields, tracks and rivers which are nestled in the famous Cotswold hills, making ideal places to walk. Kineton is next to Guiting Power, which was recently voted the UK's most desirable village to live in. Here you'll find two more pub and two village shops selling fab cakes and local food. It's a beautiful walk across the fields to get there, or a 3 minute drive. Kineton is a 10-15 minute drive away from many famous Cotswold landmarks and larger villages, like Broadway, Stow on the Wold, Bourton on the Water, Winchcombe and Daylesford farm shop and cafe. It's a 20 minute drive to Chelthenham, to either the racecourse or many festivals held there, and it's a 25 minute drive to Soho Farmhouse. Surrounded by endless pubs which serve a brilliant range of local ales and home cooked food - this is the heart of the Cotswolds, so expect the pubs to be filled with character and comfort, not fine dining, which is one of the reasons why the owner loves this part of the Cotswolds so much. If you are looking for a bit of fine dining though, head to Kingham, once named as Country Life's 'England's Favourite Village' and visit the award-winning The Wild Rabbit. Make no mistake, this is not a white washed holiday cottage, it's a home away from home in the country and we absolutely love it, as we know you will too! So, submit your best offer soonest and get your suitcase on standby! Getting around The owner would strongly advise driving as there is only one bus a day to and from Cheltenham. Two cars can park in the private drive, and there is ample free parking on the street. The nearest train stations are Kingham (25 mins) or Cheltenham (25 mins). T&Cs Check in after 15.00 and check out by 11.00. You'll be staying in someone's home, so please treat it with care and respect. No stag or hen parties. Well behaved pets are welcome, but smoking indoors is not. The cottage is yours for two nights subject to availability, and we will put you in direct contact with the owner to finalise your stay upon your successful winning bid. You are welcome to book weekends, mid-week and school holidays, with the exception of Christmas and New Year. Your stay must be booked by the end of the year and enjoyed by the end of 2025. A cleaning service is included (the cost of £100 will be taken from the winning bid and refunded to the owner).
