Begin the evening by exploring the spectacular gardens before experiencing a performance of Benjamin Britten's A Midsummer Night's Dream. During the long dinner interval, you can enjoy your own picnic in the grounds, or book fine dining in the Boundary Room Restaurant overlooking the famous Wormsley Cricket Ground.

In A Midsummer Night's Dream, Shakespeare created a mystical world in which humans are muddled and misled by the inhabitants of a fairy world with confusions and misunderstandings of their own. This tale of enchantment, madness and love is brought to life through Britten’s extraordinary orchestration, creating a sound-world of unearthly beauty. Artistic Director Douglas Boyd will conduct resident orchestra the Philharmonia.
