Founded in 1981 on the Tuscan coast of Bolgheri, Tenuta dell’Ornellaia offers aromas of ripe blackberry, cassis, and dark plum, the winemaker Axel Heinz describes it as “Intense, rich and dense on the palate with taut and powerful tannins that elicit a feeling of resoluteness. This is a wine destined for long-ageing.”
