Charlie Higson is a much-loved and hugely successful author, actor, comedian and writer for television and radio. He is perhaps best known for creating and starring in The Fast Show – the rapid-fire comedy sketch show that launched a thousand catchphrases. He is the author of numerous books for young adults, and his Young Bond series of novels has now sold over a million copies in the UK and has been translated into over 24 different languages.

Charlie takes on the persona of one his Fast Show characters here, the eccentric Johnny Painter, an artist who can’t help destroying his work whenever he hears the word “black”.
