Double magnum of 2016’s Chateau Haut-Brion

Indulge in something exceptional with this double magnum of 2016’s Chateau Haut-Brion. Produced by the Domaine Clarence Dillon estate, one of Bordeaux’s – and indeed the world’s – finest wine creators, it’s a flavour that must be sampled to be believed.

The estate has grown and developed over the years to become one of the key players on the world’s wine stage. Since 2023 their wines have been named the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures ‘official wine partners’, and they’ve even supplied the wines exclusively for the 95th Oscars®.

A blend of three grapes harvested during September and October, and bottled during late June 2018, time combined with almost perfect weather conditions have worked their magic to produce a vintage that starts out juicy on the palate before developing with refinement and volume.

The nose is joyous – a combination of red and black fruits plus violets, while the colour is bright red with garnet-red and purple highlights. This untouchable Haut-Brion is undoubtedly one of the estate’s greatest successes! 14%.
