Full Day of Shooting Plus Lunch for One with The Oxford Gun Company

A full day's instruction with one of the country's most experienced shooting instructors, catering for the novice to the experienced shot. The day will start with the group having a brief talk on gun handling and gun safety. This will be followed by a day's intensive shooting instruction, tailored to the experience of the individual. With our all-weather stands shooting can be enjoyed whatever the weather, all year round. The cost of the day includes the hire of a gun if required, cartridges, clays and lunch at the pub!

The Oxford Gun Company is an award winning family-run shooting ground that provides everything a shot could need. From first-timers, to the more experienced clay or game shot, they pride ourselves in giving each and every shooter a tailored and personalised experience. Based in Oakley, the picturesque shooting ground is laid out on the banks of a meandering brook in quintessentially English countryside, and the all-weather stands have been carefully designed to encourage the beginner, or provide a serious challenge for the experienced shot.

Our instructors have over 145 years’ experience between them and founders Doug and Shirley Florent have been in the gun trade for nearly 50 years. The passionate, highly qualified and committed team give patient and constructive tuition which will help improve and maintain form for shots of every level. We are devoted to introducing new people to the sport and providing a supportive and stimulating learning environment, and we are committed to continuing this crusade.
