Scholarship support for studying abroad is critical to our mission to equip students with the knowledge, understanding, and skills for work and life in a globally interdependent and culturally diverse world. Funding for scholarships makes study abroad available and affordable to a larger number of students each year.

You can help UC provide a global education to the current generation of students by taking part in the Raffle Prize Draw. We have two draws taking place with fabulous prizes available! Tickets will be available to purchase on the night from the raffle table in the reception, or with one of our Roaming Raffle Sellers.

Prize Draw One: A 3-night Stay in a Flat in Barcelona

Come stay in the most beautiful square in Gracia, a friendly neighbourhood in the heart of Barcelona. The flat includes two bedrooms (one with double bed and one with two twin beds), two full bathrooms (one ensuite), a living room with sofa bed, and a high quality American-style large kitchen. The flat sleeps up to 6 people.

The flat is well connected to the city centre and many of Barcelona’s famous attractions are within walking distance. Its location is one of its best features.

The flat is a typical late 19th century style with painted ceilings, exposed beams and a balcony opening onto a pedestrianized plaza with a clock tower. It is totally renovated and decorated with touches you´ll love. There is no elevator in the building and the central stairs are narrow, so it can be difficult to access for guests with disabilities.

The Gracia neighbourhood historically was a small village near the ancient city of Barcelona, but as both grew they connected via the main street (Paseo de Gracia). The neighbourhood has retained its original charm including narrow pedestrian streets, central squares, outdoor cafes, galleries, and small boutiques.

It is a special area where you can enjoy the daily routine of local people and get lost wandering the streets. Or, if you prefer, you can look out at the plaza on the balcony and experience the city from a more relaxed perspective.

Prize Draw Two: A Weekend in Paris, courtesy of the Hotel Bedford

Enjoy a weekend in Paris, courtesy of the historic Hotel Bedford. The Hotel Bedford is a quiet haven in the heart of the capital, steps away from the Madeleine, and minutes from the Paris Opera and the Champs Elysées. The hotel has been owned and managed by the same family for over 100 years.

Support your UC campus and enter for a chance to win prizes donated by our campus table sponsors! Try your chance at winning swag bags from UC Irvine, UC Santa Cruz, or the UC Education Abroad Program. Or support your basketball team with gear signed by the UCSD or UCLA athletes.

All swag bags will also come with a set of vouchers for Hoka, Ugg, and Teva, worth £185 each! Vouchers are eligible for UK purchases only, and expire March 31, 2026.
